My favorite vacation was our family trip to Hawaii... We got to feel the Hawaiian wind, put our toes in the black sand beach, walk on lava that was still molten underneath (the roads were marked off) got to learn belly dancing, go to a luau and see a roasted pig, walk through the rain forest, tackel 15 foot waves, bought my first pearl (I bought a couple until I found a black one!) that I pulled directly from an oyster from a vendor off the side of the road, got to go whale watching for the first time and got to experience it all with my family. I was probably 8.
